oil pump cover bracket?

oil pump cover bracket?

Does anybody have a mounting bracket for this cover or know where I could get one? I recently came across the cover but it did not have the brackets with it. I could always fab something but I'm trying to do it the easy way first!

I don't have a bracket , but I remove all unnecessary covers because they get in the way of regular maintenance and keeping an eye on loose bolts or oil leaks. Engine covers also hold in heat. If I am 200 miles from home it's easier to keep an eye on engine bolts if their not covered, but that's just me.

Mine had one on it when I got it. I took it off because I was always taking it off anyway, I finally just left it off.

I 'm not really all that keen on them myself but the black finish in that area is all but non-existent and it really looks like crap.

Mine too, but I don't care anymore... I've got blow-by in that area, that black paint is mostly gone, but that's the case for the whole engine. Oh well, still runs and looks good from 30 feet.

Don`t do it....

Those covers make me think of the goofy chrome brake disc covers, covering something that does not need to be covered, just to add chrome.
