Quick exhaust question...

Will an exhaust system from a full dresser fit on my bike? I know that the 1997 Heritage Springer had split duals from the factory, but I don't know if they were the same as the full dresser head pipes.

IIRC your softail primary chaincase is longer than on the rubber mounts, so the left side of a touring system wouldn't fit around your clutch housing.

That's the plan, just gotta save up some green first. Any real performance loss?

You're definitely going to lose low-end torque. I had true duals on my FLHTP and traded for some stock slip ons. The difference was notable.

I had TDs on my Glide for a while, then swapped to a 2-into-1, with the bike dyno tuned with both systems, by the same shop. The headline numbers are very close to each other, however the main difference is up to 15% more low/mid range torque, with the 2-into-1. The bike is also much smoother running and altogether a nicer ride.
