Default 1995 Nostalgia "Charlotte"

Well, I'm pretty new to the forum, but I'm finding my way around.

I figured I may as well start a page for the bike and my rides.

Last weekend I took the scoot down south and rode the " Tail Of The Dragon". All in all it was a decent ride. I did hit lots of rain and it was a bit on the chilly side, but what the hell... At least I got some "wind therapy".

Everyone said to be careful on "The Tail", but luckily it was an easy going ride for me. I guess that's because it was off season and the weather was less than perfect, I seemed to have the entire road to myself. I comfortably putted along on the wet road at 15 or 20 miles per hour most of the way and just took in the views. I pulled over a couple times too, at the roadside parking areas, to check out the views and snap a few pics.

The waterfalls and black rock formations were simply beautiful and I would strongly recommend the ride, especially if you can do it when the road is less busy.

I'll post a few pics as soon as I get em' uploaded.

Till then, I have a lot of cleaning to do after all the rain and slop I rode in last Saturday.

Maybe that's why my bike has lasted so long, I've never named it.

So far, so good... I've had minimal repairs, a headlight bulb, a brake light adjustment and a few bulbs, plus general maintenance. But, I hear ya.

I haven't named my bike let alone with a chicks name...and we just rebuilt the top end, maybe the PO called it something, hence the rebuild being necessary
