It's done took it for a 60 mi. ride today and runs strong and very smooth the Ultima 6 speed is great smooth shifting and easy to hit neutral unlike my 5spd.
Kinda sucks having to take it so easy on it for 500 mi. but builders orders . Will try to get this 500 on quick get it back to the builders and get the final tune done so i can really get a feel for all the dam money i put in it .Untill then here's a video without all the dyno noise and a few more pics .
Started this build to repair a an oil consumption issue would use 1 qt. every 250 miles or so.I was planning on just a top end rebuild but it spiraled out of control . Had the top end blueprinted ported and flow matched heads and intake . HQ-0024 cam S&S steel breather Weisco 10:1 pistons machined down to 9.7:1 per the suggestion of my builder Daytona Twin Tech ignition and Johnson lifters . Ultima 6 spd , had the frame, swingarm , trees, lowers and other small parts powder coated rebuilt some bad wiring and ran wires through my bars from there just a lot of other parts that were worn out . Was going to do a professional paint job but ran out of funds so i used rustolium hammered black rattle can to paint the tanks and fender .Hopefully next year just upgrade the brakes and new tires I hope .
