Haha cool hopefully not too much more money . figure I may need a starter, gonna see, already bought a new clutch....
Need a good starter, battery, compression releases, cables, free flowing exhaust - just changed a baffle from 2 1/2 to 3 inches and made a difference and a 2 1/2 is big enough to start with.

Eye balled a TP engine being sold local, have run their oil pumps and familiar with them, wouldn't hesitate to run a TP product.

Ran S&S internals in my stroker and beat the h$ll out it and was always dependable but man are they proud of the bigger engines price wise.

Got a 1 season Ultima for $2500, that allowed me to build it the way I wanted. Ultima engines has "made is USA" plastered everywhere but everyone knows that the little people are the best at copying American products and make improvements. Since my Harley isn't 100% parts from the factory, it doesn't bother me to run a solid oriental Evo, just wouldn't run a Revtech or Twinkie engine in it. Hey Harley advertises American legend with imported parts, Ultima imports parts and advertises made in USA - looks like we all bought into it.

Ya THC, you would have to put Jasper in the Evo street race because he has a handful of throttle available and CRAZY, will also be pulling that S&S down shortly changing the cam, he won't be able to resist the temptation for more power.

Post some pics Nyokie, those TP's are some fine looking engines and the polished ones look killer

Ya I looked at S&S but price wise and the factory being right here in city I couldnt see not going TP. Just busting ***** on the oriental crap lol, I used to ride jap bikes so who am i to talk haha. Ya Ultima assembled in Missouri I saw, RevTech pure Korean....... Korean EVO?
My current cables not gonna work ok? Pain in the *** restringing cables through that old style fairing.
TP ships the motor with semi auto comp releases.
Figuring on a starter, will probably wait till mine burns out, doubt its stock being a 95? Suggest a big gel battery? I have a harley batt about 3 yrs old.
Far as pipes im running kerker/supertrapp true duals with old supertrapp se mufflers, I like the setup hopefully can keep it?
Pics will be posted of the install and finish for sure

Ya if you don't have a sense of humor here, your posts automatically go to the touring section so oriental Evo is just conversation.

Found a Big Crank online at Battery Mart, 400 CCA for $99 that is a exact size match for the HD battery that are 285 CCA, it gets the job done as I had the compression bumped up even higher when apart.

Your main battery cables are only about 18" long, just saying you want to give yourself the best opertunity to start on a hot day.

Supertrapps should work, are those the ones with discs?
