May fly hatch in late May or early June. They were so thick we had to slow down because we could no longer see through the a$$holes that had collected on the windshield and googles. Unbelievable.
Quick question KP, is the aftermarket mount you installed made for your bike. I went to the manufacturer's website and the only advertise a mount for 1999-2013 models. You may truly have an appropriate m.m. but it was new old stock that the manufacturer no longer sells or supports.
Just axin'

I have the pre production version to test it out before they release it. The mount is great, no complaints it has done more for the bike than anything else. It's made the bike very stabile and it handles better than I expected a old dyna could.
Side note. I'm pretty sure I've located the source of my issue and everyone else's with similar issues. I'm looking to make an order today on a few parts and will update when I know more.
If you have ever ridden through a monarch butterfly migration then you would know the love bugs ain't much!!!
I was finding bits of butterflies for years after that!!!!
Worst for me was riding around Skaneateles Lake the day the tent caterpillars were migrating. Riding through a wooded area there were thousands of them, literally hanging from the trees overhead by a thread! My entire bike was covered with caterpillars in various states between living and dead. Talk about a mess! And the smell! Unbelievable.
