I was told that you could not adjust the idle rpm on the MM EFI???
the hot idle and cold idle can both be adjusted. It's in the service manual and not hard to do. The hot idle has to be adjusted with the air cleaner off though.
First thing as has been said is to pull any codes that may be stored. Second try resynching the ECM & the IAC. Kill switch to RUN. Turn key switch ON for 5 sec (about 2 sec. after fuel pump stops pressurizing). Then Off for 10 sec. Repeat a second time.
I am leaning toward the ETS, as it only happens after it is warmed up. You can check the ETS by measuring voltage and resistance.
It is outlined in the 1998 manual. Not sure if it is in the 1997 one, but they should be the same. There is a whole set of diagnostic flow charts to track down FI issues.
I tried reading the codes as above.
Nothing, no blinking lights at all.
Also tried the resynching with the key as above, no change at all.
Not too sure about the table above, is that test outlined in the manual, (that's not yet here)??
Thanks
You should get a bunch of really fast blinking lights even if you don't have any stored codes. Try that on/off thing again a time or two. You'll know when you get it right.

I'll give it another go, thanks.
Got my manual yesterday too, that's gotta be a good thing.
