Nice numbers for the 80" your tuner has it nailed, I like the lean out at high rpms for power just scared with the big engine to do that. You can see when the T jet comes in

Just ordered a 036 intermediate and I'm afraid it is going to end up with next size of 040 which is a gas guzzler, lets see what the 036 does but I fumbled the intermittent jet set up

my tuner lol... it was me on my buddies dyno if he would have been there it probably would have been done in a hour. it took me almost 5 hours and a lot of cussing. but I think ive got it close enough now. when I showed him the printouts and told him how long it took. he just laughed at me

You need to look for a new tuner, wouldn't be able to afford this one if he charged by the hour, did you wear your carb screws out or just started putting a wire tie around the carb?

I bought the thumb screw kit. the only thing that gave me a fit was the air bleed. getting the timing on the main jet was a PITA. it still overlaps the T-jet but just a little now.

Tuned 80-110 horsepower engines with numbers by the book that create a perfect running engine with no hiccups in any areas BUT NO try that with this engine and you have enough heat to cook popcorn and hiccups from hell and just shut off at a stop sign, head scratching attention is needed with this monster.

On a AFR reader normal engines idle and run in the 13.8 range, this engine will just plain shut off at a 1000-1100 rpm idle or spit out carb in a 13.8 range, had to turn the (Ultima/S&S) air mixture screw out into a rich 12.8 range which took care of that problem. Low to mid RPM range is set at 13.6 which runs fine but will build alot of heat running thru towns in with stop lights, I already have the biggest low speed jet with the kit in and currently installing a bigger low speed jet to cool this baby down but kissing fuel mileage good bye that wasn't bad riding normal but will pay the gas to save a engine.

Conclusion is get it close with a AFR reader and then go back to the old school of adjusting by feel that works for the application so never forget the old ways in a modern world, you might need them.

Oh, by the way, did I say how much fun eye watering HP is

Thanks for the product but I believe if I give the engine what it wants with fuel the heat will come down, I will know this weekend.

Ya, can see where the air bleed could screw with you, left my air bleed where John Sachs set it up with the T jet and throat bore
