Remember back when the "Club" came out it was supposed to stop car thieves from getting your car well the pros just got smarter and poured some liquid nitrogen on it and just tapped it with a hammer no more club. so just saying if some one wants something they will get it one way or another.
If u gotta worry ain't worth riding it. Lost 1 bike in 50 years. Sucked but it's not changing my life. I also don't have routine. If you have had bikes any length of time. Just be aware Lots of tricks to lock up and disable. Also for tracking. But I am not the one who is going to post my favorite ways. Ride the f n thing. It ain't but a machine/tool
I have agreed value insurance through Harley Davidson and when my Wide Glide got written off I made a profit of $3500...
If I remember right Harley uses Progressive for their insurance.
Last time I had Progressive they screwed the hell out of me on a claim.
I will never use them again.

Its done through Swan here and they are just brilliant, claim settled in 5 days.
I had a bike stolen while having progressive. I was happy with the outcome. I. Not sure if I made money but I feel confident that I was surely awarded fair compensation. Plus and receipt I had for parts I had bought they paid me for. HD had a record of every part I had bought there, so that helped.

Sounds like one more reason NZ would be a great place to live.
I gotta give y'all points off for spelling though!!!!!
There ain't no way I could figure out how to spell my address if I lived there!!!
I'm aware of the possibility, but, like the man said, "you can't live in fear." I'm careful where I leave it, and, if possible, like to park where I can keep one eye on it, but I can't obsess over it either.
Traveling, I like to stay at places outside of a city, where I can park the bike outside the window, then lock it and cover it with a dirty, black unmarked cover I carry for that purpose. Probably wouldn't help, though. Once I'm asleep, the roof could fall in on me and I'd probably sleep right through it.

A. I camp next to the bike
B. My bars are only 29" wide so it fits in ground floor motel rooms rather easy.
Any other time it's parked I "might" pull the rotor lock out , but I tend to avoid the places where I'd have to worry about it. When I'm out on day trip type situations I don't do the "bar to bar" thing so it'd be more like a car jacking.
Where it sits at home I seriously doubt I have to worry, and besides if you make it past the mastiff the wife will shoot.
