Wow,

Not a single response, so nobody uses them, nobody has an opinion about them, nothing?

Ok, I'll kick it off by saying I installed them and am noticing a slight increase in low rpm torque, the bike feels more responsive between 1800 and 2400 rpm. Now I have no dyno proof which was why I posted in the first place, I figured someone out there would chime in with some facts.

I guess this thread will fade away.

Torque cones are used to increase back pressure to compensate for baffle removal. And give back bottom end.

I had them on my '94 Wide Glide when I ran drag pipes (no baffles).

I do not have them on my '14 Limited as I am running the stock head pipes with CFR slip ons.

I felt they helped the Wide Glide with the open pipes, but it would still spit flame out the pipes on a hard deceleration every so often...looked cool at night. I don't think I ever got the carb jetted perfectly for the pipes, but she ran pretty well and never gave me any mechanical issues (other than a broken 'stator that the dealership cracked putting the wrong size filter cover back on).
