Hey guys, got an 07 Road King with the stock Y-pipe headers. Already replaced one cracked header after the support tab broke, now 2000 miles on the new tab and it's already broken, what the hell? This is the little tab that tucks underneath the clamp under the seat.
The bike shakes like crazy, front motor mount is fine, any ideas what else it could be? It's my first Harley so I really don't know if it shakes more than the average bike, but any ideas what could be causing this? Should I just go to an aftermarket header and be done with it?
If your bike shakes a lot, then it sounds as if there is something wrong, that needs to be fixed. There is a possiblity however that you may be riding with the revs too low, which can cause that problem. Don't spend any money until you have identified the problem! If in doubt find a local indy.
