Engine build/ exhaust question
I've been running stage 1 with Samson True Dual exhaust. No Engine mods up to this point.
The build: Fuel Moto 107 big bore kit with level B heads, 10.5 comp. Woods 999-6a cams, woods night prowler lifters, Fuel Moto adjustable push rods, Fueling OE+ cam plate and oil pump, AIM vp clutch, Dyno jet Powervision tuner.
Most every thing is installed, so please no replies about why I didn't go with this that or the other cam, kit, company etc. etc. I chose Fuel Moto because of all the positive reviews here and elsewhere, and this is what they recommended.
I am wanting to go with a 2 into 1 exhaust but I am not a fan of overly loud exhaust, not a judgement, to each there own. I leave for work at 5:30 am in a residential neighborhood and prefer not to wake the entire neighborhood.
My dilemma, I ordered the supertrapp supermeg tunable exhaust system. The Fuel Moto site said it was for my bike but when I unpacked it there are no o2 sensor bungs installed. Turns out the system fits my bike but is technically for 95' to 06' model years. They do not make one with bungs installed for my bike.
Fuel Moto is being very co-operative and said I can return or exchange for something they carry. They suggested the s+s sidewinder which I like the looks and sound of but the sidewinder for my bike only comes in the 50 state compliant version ( catalytic converter installed)
I'm not trying to squeeze every bit of horse power/ torque out of this build and I don't mind leaving a little on the table in the name of DB levels, however I ride 2 up much of the time and I know the wife would not appreciate the extra heat.
Ok, so options. 1.Stick with the supertrapp and weld in bungs. I can weld and FM said they would send the bungs for free. 2.Get the Sidewinder and de-cat. Not sure if that is feasible or what it involves. 3. Get Sidewinder and live with the cat installed. 4. Jackpot RTX 2 into 1 with baffle and pack/ wrap to tone it down a bit. 5. Go with a 2 into 1 into 2 system. (I may be one of the few who actually prefers the look of 2 into one over duals and would like to avoid this option)
FM also carry's Rhinehart and Basani or I could take the refund and look elsewhere.
I realize that engine performance upgrades and trying to keep noise levels down don't really go hand in hand, but like I said I'm willing to leave some on the table.
I'm leaning towards option 4 the Jackpot.
Thanks for any advice/ input.
I say keep the supermeg exhaust and get the bungs installed. Everything else is a compromise on what you wanted and youve spent too much time and money to compromise now

A lot of this is new to me, so I appreciate the feedback.

If your not sure of where to place the bungs ck with FM for some guidance on that

Ive gotta disclose Im a bit biased towards this exhaust as Ive had three of them. Local indy and tuner put me onto them as it was their preferred performance pipe for getting results
