i am looking forward to them going out of business !!!!!!!!!!! i ordered my D&D fatcat a week and a half ago, called to see where it was cause it should have been here already, and they show no order!!!!!!!!!!!! and now they dont have any in stock, told them they can eat the overnight shipping to me as soon as it comes in. thier customer service has gone to the toilet, its no wonder bikers choice is still doing better after all these years.
I feel your pain, waiting for nothing !!! But I think all companieshave good and bad orders. I purchased stuff from American Classic one time and GREAT. Order something again and the freak'n part's box was open and no instructions.Sure they'll swap...WHO WANTS TO WAIT. I saw another threat about Demons and I had no trouble there. Bought something from American and just didn't like it, bang 15% restock. I understand 5% to cover costs but 15% on almost $200.00 bucks and I get a opened part next round. Debrix rocked on that ,,,,no restock. Anyway sorry to hi-jack your thread. My husband is a parts manager and sometimes no matter what they do an order here and there slips into the black hole.
I just got my D&D from Custom Chrome and I called them back to order a quiet baffle and they had no idea about it. I called D&D and got the part number and called CC back and told them D&D's part number and they still couldn't cross reference it.
Good help is hard to find. Ifa companypays for good people, it goes against the bottom line. This means less profit. There's a priceto pay for "in stock" and knowledgeable staff.Hope I don't get flamed for this but we use J&P Cycle quite a bit. Get the stuff 2 days and again I never had problems with returns. Got hubby a Christmas present last year he returned it in March. No questions asked and no restocking charge. But they ain't cheap.
Big John - PM Shooter64 on this forum. He is as solid a guy as they come and can get you about anything. I know he has hooked up several forum members on Fatcat's with and without quiet baffles. He is the owner of Cateye Customs in Russelville Arkansas.
