Yep mine is set a little richer to get rid of the pinging, guy from Zippers did it at Biketoberfest, said he thinks there is a problem with the HD cams that are pressed together and recommended getting solid cams. This is going to be my next step, either 575 or SE 203.
yes that is what I have it set at in my cruse range 13.5, so it is running a little rich?
Think about this.... Do you REALLY need your bike generating a 13.5:1 AFR at cruise???? That is a setting for a0% ThrottlePosition (idle)..... cruising with that AFR is doing nothing but wasting $$$$ anddiluting the oil in the crankcase......
My cruse range is about 2800 to 3000 rpms I can up that afr to 13.8. I donât follow you on the diluting the oil in the crankcase you say to rich will do this. I notice that my oil temp has been running hotter than it use to.

Excess fuel is wasted in the combustion chamber, and some of it is expected to go to the crank case, but with THAT HIGH of an AFR, you are almost dumping fuel that is not getting burned... It is washing any oil that is on the cylinder walls to aid in heat dissipation and assist in proper ring sealing to the cylinder walls...
One of the reasons that you are experiencing higher temps is probably because fuel doesn't transfer heat like oil does..... I'll bet that your oil is reaking of fuel, and it is thinner than normal at room temp.....
