engine running sluggish
I replaced the cam tensioners and cam chains on a 2000 road king. I also installed the screaming eagle adj push rods, adjusted them at 2 1/2 turns. Now when the engine is cold it seems sluggish in first gear, after warming up it seems to run fine. It also seems sluggish when free wheeling the engine up. It seems like it wont acc up in first gear but when shifting to second it accelerates on up. It also seems a little sluggish at highway speeds. Could I have not lined the timing marks up? I called myself checking them real close but things happen.
