oil pump alignment tool
Can somebody tell me the dimensions of the oil pump alignment tool used on an 06 Ultra? I'm going to change my oil pump and being a machinist, I was going to make an alignment tool. Thanks Dan

I dont have one on me right now, but they are just and old EVO lifter block centering pin.

ajayrk, Sorry, but not being computer savvy ,I don't know how to change the extension from .txt to .pdf. All I get is a bunch of letters and numbers. Thanks Dan

Why not slightly snug down and use the spin rear wheel method to align pump?Then tq to specs.This method may get you better results.

pittguy, Are you suggesting that the alignment holes may be off true position so bad that even when done by the book it will result in a fruitless attempt and end up wrong?? [
][] Sorry, I accustomed to working in microns and having something misaligned, drives me up a wall. One of my many, many faults. But if it comes down to that, I,ll do it, so I don't miss out on any riding. Thanks Dan

Down load the file. Right click on the file name and select rename. Change .txt to .pdf. If you can't see the extension on the file go to the menu and click on "tool" then click "folder options" click the "view" tab.
Under the hidden files folder uncheck "Hide extension for known file names", click apply then click OK.
You will now be able to see the extension and rename the file.
The drawing is a CAD of alignment pins for stock oil pump and Feuling oil pump.
