No dawg, It's something I'll be doing next month when I get home from this job I'm on now. I just wanted to have all the parts and tools ready when the time comes. No big rush. Thanks for asking Dan
One other option is to email me and let me capture your email address and I will attach the file to an email to you. You will need adobe reader to view it. Free downloads for the reader are on the net.
Thanks to all of you, for all your help. I hope I didn't offend anyone, I just want to have everything I need to do the job right the first time. Next question will be , Which brand of adjustable push rods is better or best bang for the buck. thanks again, Dan
With out the tapered tools you install all 4 oil pump bolts, very lightly seat them rotate the motor, trans in 5th or 6th depending on yr,spark plugs out, 2 or 3 times, snug bolts a little more, turn motor 2 or 3 times, tighten more, turn more, tighten more, until you get tofinal tq.
The best bang for the buck is the Harley Screaming Eagle kit. It comes with the pushrods, shorter tubes, longer clips and the o-rings. It is best to bore out the pushrod tubes to .610 so the oversize adjustable pushrods won't rub.
The new S/E tapered pushrod should clear without boring the tubes, but they cost more and don't come as a kit.

Where is the clearance issue, is it at the top of the tube? I'm installing a set of the SE adjustables this weekend, just want to know what to look for.
Most of the clearance problems is at the top where the shoulder is formed to seal the o-ring at the head. An inside collar results reducing the inside diameter. Removing the collar may be all that is necessary and that could be done with a die grinder. Just match the major diameter.
I bought mine on ebay. I could have made mine too, but for 15 bones and the fact that they are heat treated, why would I want to give myself the head ache.
