case question
iwas at a bike show over the weekend and was talking to a guy from a bike shop and hes telling me that im wasting my money and time on doin a hq113 build on my 07 softail hes ststing that the cases on the 96in motors are no good and it wont hold up i have heard of the run out issues and crank bearing problems already so is this guy full of **** or aer there really problems w/ cases

thats right doc...OR didnt know how to assembly a motor and wanted to sell a crate motor.....
There are people with 117's,124's, and 131's on stock cases..The only one i have heard of breaking was a guy that had a S+S rod go through it....ouchh.....

The stock crank needs attention, but the case is A-OK.
If you do the HQ 113 & send your bottom end to Darkhorse for setup, you will have NO issues with the bottom end ~ crank, cases, etc...
