What carburetor do I need
Hi,
I need a little help for choosing a carburetor. I have a electra glide FLH 1980 complete standard engine. I will change my carburetor for a S&S carburetor.
There are 3 different models which one can I take?
The S&S super B carburetor The S&S super E
or the S&S super G carburetor
and what does mean shorty. There are so many differents
Thanks!!

In order to install a CV on your shovelhead you're gonna have to purchase more than just a carburator.
The S&\\;\\\\\\;S(super E) \\;\\\\\\;works fine on my shovel and the kit is very complete and easy to install.

You say it works fine on your bike....can you tell me what you compared it to, have you ever had a CV carb on a Shovel? \\; Just want to know what you based your \\;statement on. \\;

CV carbs aren't much better then the old Kiehn (bad spelling I know) carbs even when they have been tuned and tweeked. S/S Super B is easy \\;to install and tune, not to mention pretty much bullett proof. And you don't need an expensive tuning kit to make it work. Of coarse this an opinion mixed in with a reasonable amount of experiance \\; \\;
