This is the first problem I have had. When coming home from work I noticed she was running a little sluggish after the first 5 miles. It was about 85 and humid today, in the 90's yesterday and she ran great. Running at 80mph and twist the throttle the pull I am use to wasn't there and then when I was going up a hill I had the throttle pegged to the stop just keeping steady at 80 in sixth at 3000rpm.
I have V&\\;H true duals with Rush slip-ons with stock air cleaner (these have been on for over a month), I just replaced the plugs and oil last week. Oil pressure was fine, 93 octane fuel, tires at correct pressure and brakes are not dragging. [/align]
The "problem du jour" on the '08 tour bikes seems to be the fuel filter canister, which might be giving you your problem. \\; Do a seaarch on it and check the posts in the touring forum. \\; Short version: \\; the fuel filter in the tank is breaking apart and the bikes aren't sucking fuel when this happens.

Let us know how you make out. \\; If money isn't the issue, you might want to change out the stock AC for a stage 1 and get some sort of fuel management setup.....or the IED's and a download.

What a day, went by the dealer and talked to service, all I could get out of \\;HD's #1 dealer was bring it in and we will check it out, BTW we are two weeks out on appointments then there is a four to five day wait. Well I made it out to the garage and pulled the fuel cap, sure enough I seen fuel sprinkles and can hear dripping. I'll call around tomorrow to find a canister. I know I should have bought one today but I was running late to an appointment, mine don't have four - five days like the dealers.
 \\;
Dawg: I have the filter and saving up for the power commander which I should have soon. Your post on replacement have been very helpful.

I have posted on four HD forms and not once have anyone said come back in two weeks and wait 4 - 5 days. This is what a family is like. I wish the family of dealerships would start understnding this.
Thank you all very much
