failed emissions

Default failed emissions
My bike wont pass emissions testing. I have a Mikuni HSR carb and we couldn't get it dialed in to pass emissions. I switched to a CV carb thanks to a friend who loaned it to me. This carb just passed emissions 2 months ago on a 96 lowrider. I put it on my 95 wide glide and it fails. I am thinking it may not be the carb. It fails the hydrocarbon test and passes the Carbon monoxide. Any ideas? Thanks

look at the plugs too see how the engine is running

if timing is too far retarded it will give you massive unburnt fuel(hydrocarbons)

Lean it out all the way......then re-test. If you did that advance the timing a little.

Luckily I live in California, but my bike is registered in Texas.&nbsp\\; No emissions testing!
