Need Some Tech Help 08 Rocker
Just received my V&H Big radius pipes. Now the issue is dealer will not install pipes since they are not California legal ok no big deal.
Found a shop that will install pipes but there could be a problem remapping fuel map since I was told by this shop I may have to take it to Dealer to have it programed Dealer cost 2 bills.
I bought the pipes just so the bike would be louder and that people in their cars would know that I was coming and pay attention to what they are doing. I did not get them for performance. So question is can the fuel map be reprogramed or do I have to add a fuel pak ?
The independant shop tech told me he would not know what to do with the fuel map until pipes were installed and get the bike on a dyno to tune it and said it is a good possibility that the dealer will have to remap it.
Any good info on this would help me plus has anyone here in So Ca had this done yet to thier 08 Rocker?

buy a tts and tune it your self. you can load a map in there closest to your combo if it is just a pipe and air cleaner change there is a map iin there for you.
now the tts will set you back some coin JD's has them in stock call him and he might even have a map closer to your specs he can send you. he is a grteat guy like that1-610-297-0321
