Just got a reply back from Supertrapp about the price of the new Super Elite Series exhaust. They're going for $359.00 and are a replacement for the Screaming Eagle Pipes. They DO NOT have the discs internal but for the price they seem really reasonable. Hope this helps some of you out looking into this pipe.
I bought mine from a dealer,,, the are a great pipe for a touring bike,, nice rumble, louder thatn stock,,
I'm glad I got them,,,
by dyna has V+H straight shots,,, tooo loud
Just Purchased and installed a set of these Supertrapp Pipes, and they are definately louder than the three Db increase that Supertrapp is claiming. These sound identical if not a bit louder than the original 65115-98 Screaming Eagle Slip Ons that Harley previously sold. I compared them to a friends set of Harley SE 65115-98 pipes, and the construction seems to be identical.
There was a definate low end performance increase with just the pipes, and I will add the SE Airfilter and Stage-1 download this weekend. So far I am very happy with the sound and performance of these pipes.
I, too, have the 65115's on my FLHXI, and the low-end power increase was quite noticeable (over stock). It now pulls cleanly from 2,000rpm (in first through third gear), whereas it used to not like to be below 2,300 - 2,400rpm. Mileage increased, too.
