Default Free-flow AC and rejet w/stock mufflers?

I have a 2005 XL1200R and am interested in increasing the air flow for the extra "umph" it provides and to just let the bike breathe properly. Is it possible to do the rejet and AC change without changing out the stock exhaust? I have tried the Cycle shack slip-ons as well as the SE II's alone without the rejaet and AC change, and I don't like the added noise (more precisely, my neighbors and the fuzz don't). Will rejetting the carb and installing a free-flow AC give me an effective Stage I without changing out the exhaust? Has anyone done this?

Thanks in advance for any input or feedback you can provide,

If you add the SEAC and rejet, you still are only allowing a certain amount of air in the bike, as the stock exhaust will only allow a certain amount out.....

Yes, you can do it, but the results will not be as much as if you did the whole package (SEAC/DJK/SE II's).....

I started out with the stage 1 air flow, reflash and Screaming Eagle II's slip ons. Bike ran great, but it was just too loud for me to enjoy a long ride. After 5000 miles of this, I pulled off the Screaming Eagles and put the stock mufflers on. The bike still runs great, and now it has nice gentlemenly like tone to the exhaust. I put on another 5000 miles like this, and this is the same setup you are asking about. The bike runs just fine and all I have really done (without a less restrictive exhaust) is set the EFI a little richer, since it does not "know" that I took off the SEII's. Since these machines are set on the verge of too lean from the factory, the additional small amount of fuel flow from the stage I reflash just puts the mixture where it really likes to be with the stock mufflers. I've been getting between 45 and 49 miles per gallon, and although I do not abuse it, I don't baby it either.
