How will it effect fuel mileage?
I have a 2005 Road King FLHR with carb. As a stock bike I regularly get 46-48 MPG. To give it a little more sound, I am thinking of installing a set of Vance and Hines basic slip-on's. But one thing leads to another, so I would also install a stage-1 jet kit and a K&N filter air kit. After doing all this, what can I expect the fuel mileage to be?

i just did a buddys electra glide, (evo), and we went with rinhart true duals and a arlen ness big sucker plate, and i jetted the bike up, and he reported a gain for the entire tank over stock??? im assuming the mpg went down in the city, but up in the highway? who knows. but hes happy. chad.

As long as the jetting is right, you're MPG should be the same or better. If you go too big on the jets and start running rich, then your MPG will go down. Don't go crazy with the jets, needle, and screw settings and you should be fine.
