Chrome engine kit
I just recieved my chrome engine kit from M&M cycles, I have all the tools, manual, etc.
I have seen comments before that after changing the rocker boxes some of you have had leaks. I am going to check the new covers to make sure they are plained.
Is there any good words of advice replaceing these?
Put anything on the gasket or leave it alone?
Can you tell if the pushrods are properly seated without checking through the tubes?
The manual also states to have engine in the proper timing cycle before tighteng the rocker arms, but then again the manual is assuming a upper motor rebuild and re-assembly. If I know the cams are timed properly to the crank, I should just be able to rotate the motor untill both lifters are down on the cyclinder i'm working on, and the load is off the arms before I begin, correct?
