Engine Noise on 2003 RoadkingFI
I had a rattling noise in my right side case or so I think. I talk to some mechanics and they all say the same thing about it probably cam bearings as the bike has 36000 miles on it. I have been around motorcycles and cars for 20 plus years and rebuilt lots of engines so I decided to do this my self got all the tech manuels together and started got along good everything back in its place and its time to fire it up. well no fire and no fuel. What?? so I am looking for problems and notice that on the instument panel I see a red light on that has never been there before it looks like the Harley Davidson Shield and is just steady on what is this light if anyone knows and any farther info on why it will not fire or dump fuel now would be a great help

What year? Carbed or injected? Was cam bearing change the only thing done? If all was well before you opened up the cam chest, the fix is probably something simple and you will fell like kicking yourself when you find it.

2003 Fuel Injected and yes Cam bearings were the only thing changed Tensioner Shoes looked like new hopefully thanks to the AmsOil that has been run in it since the Breakin was over.
