Default 2000 superglide running bad

Hello all i just got a 2000 superglide has a 95 inch kit installed hooker trouble maker pipes with baffles problem i am having is that untill i have ridden at least 5 miles or so it just wont rev up i could hold the throttle all the way open it will only go to 3000 rpm if i ride for a while then it starts ridding right great response and all but if i shut it off even for a quick gas stop it goes right back to being a slug not sure what to check i have replace the intake gaskets replaced the slide in the carb tried numerous jets. bike has a screming eagle 7000 rpm moduale in it was wondering if a bad sensor or somthing i can unplug the cam sensor and it still runs the same the ignition must be from a newer bike because the last digits are 01a so maybee thats why i can run it without the cam sensor anyone have any suggestions

that is weird. If the bike was fuel injected you could point the finger at a sensor or something.

it almost sounds like a fuel or carb issue. but there is a map sensor in the intake. atleast my has one. maybe there could be something up with the enricher in the carb. maybe not enough gas when cold, but you would have a popping too.

this is a good one, keep us posted.

dose the bike petcock have a vacume VOSE thing on it, maybe there is a issue with that.

I heard awhile back that there were issues with them. I bought a Pingle petcock but i have yet to install it.

Im guessing you have a CV carb.

if so, have you looked at the diaphram to see if it has a pin hole in it.

I pulled my off straight away after purchase and i run Mikuni 42mm.

im grabbing at straws too, just trying to send out some posibilities.
