Default A/C opinion please...

Every vendor out there (S.E, Ness, Woods, Zippers, HPI, Kury, ect.) has their own version of an air cleaning element that flows 30% greater than their next nearest competitor. My question is who is running what? What performance gains have you seen in different companies? Open element vs. Closed cover? Good or bad experiences? Are the "wider" ones gettin in the way of your right leg? Also, do i need to change the backing plate from my stage I S.E a/c?
Lets see some pics too...

THIS is what works VERY well, if not hands down THE best.
A Dorherty backing plate, with either a Wood element(for 8" round cover), or our 3.5" element(largest in the industry to fit under "football" cover).
