Default 97" Build

Looking at a 97" build going to use S&S 97' pistons /jugs...looking at Woods tw7h6r cam or the T-Man 625.Need to upgrade cam chain tensioners at this point.Talked to Don(Deweys) about heads...Talked to TR about his stage II heads.Compression is going to be around 10:25:1/w manual compression releases.Question is what cam do I use. Both heads are great, both can be set up similar....looking for TQ...TQ....TQ from 2000 to 5000....roll on power as I usually stay around 3000 to 4200 daily riding.SERT tuner....Rinehart ex.....duals.Trying to decide just askin around.........THANKS

I'm running the Woods 6-6-R with a 98". Full roller chain conversion, Head work, true duals, PCiii. blah, blah, blah.
96.5 HP, 111.4 TQ.
I'd expect the curve to be somewhat close with the 7h6r.

I did 97" with Axtel parts. They were actually Wossner pistons and Don Dorfman did my cylinders. I run an Andrews 37 with the SE 1.725 rockers and Don Dorfman heads with manual CRs.I'm right a 10-1 with a rinehart pipe and a PCV. Got 103hp and 106TQ out of it. Mike Stegman at Latus tuned it. I do have a torque dip around 2200 due to the pipe. I'm looking at getting an RB Racing pipe to fix the torque dip issue but over all I'm happy with the build.

What a sweet TQ curve....how is your Roll-on from 60...80...and do you usually need to downshift to pass loaded and 2 up.How was Hillside to deal with have talked with Scott also.

Roll on is good and I never down shift loaded. Bike really likes to run above 2500 rpms. Get under that steady and it's lugging and time to down shift. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with Scott again.
