Default Sert thundermax???

ngine: 95" Screaming Eagle Big Bore Kit w/flat-top pistons, Heads done by Big Boyz Head Porting(cc'd and milled to obtain an 80cc Combustion chamber) Ported With compression releases, 48mm Throttle Body by (HPI), Andrews 37G cams, adjustable push-rods, Bassani 2>1 Exhaust, SERT super tuner, 9.8 to1 compression, 95.08HP/96.06TQ. I feel with this set-up you get great dependability and very impressive performance.
Chassis &misc.

If the SERT has been tuned on a Dyno, you could just let it go as is ....

Very nice build you've got there ... but, a little surprised your numbers didn't top 100/100 with the setup you've described ....

Although I use a Thunder Max with Auto Tune, the benefit is that it doesn't require Dyno tuning once the proper base map has been loaded ... beyond that, it will fine tune itself ....

I guess I am of a mind that 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' ... and, IMHO that's where you are right about now ....

Up to you though ... the ThunderMax is a great unit ....

* * *

Another thing to bear in mind ... since you have a 95" your bike did not come with O2 sensors originally ... I am assuming your Bassani 2 > 1 don't have bungs for the O2 sensors (I suppose they might have and you just plugged them) ... but, if not, you'll have to cut holes in your pipes and weld (or have someone weld) O2 bungs into your pipes ... otherwise the Auto Tune function will not work ....

The AT requires feedback from wide-band O2 sensors (supplied with the unit) ....

* * *

The ThunderMax w/ AT is around $800-$900 ... depending on where you get the bungs done, could cost another $40-$60 or so ...

If it were me, I'd drop the incremental funds on something else ... upgrade to floating discs and/or 6-piston calipers ... or upgrade the rear shocks / forks with better springs or cartridge emulators ... etc. ....

If it has been tuned with the SERT and it is running fine, you will just be wasting dollars to add a T-max unit and will see no gains.

Routine maintenance is all that is needed.
