Default Shift Light

I am seriously considering putting a shift light on my 07 FLHRSE3. I would like to keep my eyes forward and not have the engine bumping the rev limiter, everytime I lay into it. I know HD makes one. Does anyone have any feedback? Installation hassles etc.? What about any other brands? Thanks, Rob

Got one on the Night Train. Really bright at night thank god for the dimmer function. Easy to install and looks cool on the black bars. My cams start dropping off around 5800 so I set my light at 5500 rpm. The tach function is a nice bonus. Check out the pics.

Hey Sarge, Is that the one from HD? Did you have to pull the tank to run the wiring?

That's the SE shift light tach. The tank was off so they could warranty some peeling clear coat so I went ahead and did the wiring for the tach. You do have to run a wire back to the connector on the computer for the EFI bikes but you probably can raise the tank and run the wire thru that way. I would put some protective sleeving on it first thou.

I have a tach in my tank mounted speedo, so I assume I could jump off of that.

Thanks Sarge, I think I would like the tach in the shift light feature.
