I'm kind of bored with my bike....I guess that's because I've made no changes to it over the winter, and spring is arriving. I'm thinking about changing cams only, just to see what it does. I may swap my T-Man 590G's for a set of Wood TW8g-7's. Anyone care to speculate what the difference would be? It could be a real waste of $$$.
I would go with woods 408g if I went that way.
Not enough bang for the buck otherwise.
Your heads should be OK but double check clearances at the top end.
Another thing to think about is your exhaust.
113 engine
The Fatcat has 1 3/4 inlets.
If your Biesley heads are set up to SE Exhaust Gasket size they are 1 7/8 size.
You might already be giving some away with the Fatcat inlet size. if so,
You might think about the Borzilla, with it's 1 7/8 size.
Now folks thats just me thinking about this cause, I have been there with the Fatcat. Great exhaust but with a big engine and prepared heads we got a real breather here.
More cam just does that better.

Hey Beau, whats up my Brother! I'm thinking I'm with Gunny. If you go with a bigger cam, it would be worth a try to go with a Boarzilla. Give it room to breath.
The smart dudes will chime in shortly, I hope, and square you away. Also, I think the blinker fluid should be Dino, instead of syn. Good for a couple HP on the top.
Go all out... put a 45/8 crank in that and have a BEAST!!! Just sayin...
Hell... I rode my bike for the first time TODAY, since November... I didn't even wash it when I put it away last fall... let alone any good stuff. Got to ride it today in the dark. I LOVE riding at night!!!

Hey Wurk, not much going on here....I got out last night and enjoyed the evening/ weather. I agree- the Boarzilla might be a possible answer. Staying away from the 4 5/8 crank.....don't want to split cases again. Maybe you're onto something with that dino blinker fluid. I called Autozone, but they don't carry it, so I'll have to check with Advance Auto today.
We have used .715" Red Shift back in the Evo days, in the larger engines.
I believe that Dick Hilferty(works for Zippys) still grinds a T/C equivilant.
Brutal delivery at about 3000 out, with whopping hp.
Scott
I though about the 9B at first when I suggested the 408. But I though about the intake closing and LSA.
This is just comparing the spects between 3 very good cams but seemed to me the 408 would just about be a bolt in, so to speak, for this engine. From the 590. If that is what is wanted.
408 spects very similar to the 590. More lift mainly.
Like 400 similar to 7H. More lift.
Would be a straight up HP and TQ improvememt with very little tunning to do, more that likely.
Not counting exhaust though.
When I went from the 7H to the 400 I didn't have to do much tuning, just a little twenking here and there.
In amongst all that found the FatCat couldn't handle that much. For me anyway.
