Long story short... bought my wife some V&H short shorts, but bung threads in rear pipe stripped from factory. Not doing a QA inspection prior to installing O2 into bung, it stripped the threads, but I can get the sensor 90% in. V&H warranty is going to replace the parts, but the wife wants to ride this weekend. I have the Fuel Pack as well.

Run a 'thread chaser' (not a tap) through the threads to clean up the threads.

Install sensor (with anti-seize compound) and snug down.
Does not need to be real tight to seal.
Actual 'pressure' inside of headpipes is lower than one might think.
This may get you by until proper fix can be achieved.
