Woods lifters

Anyone have problems with woods lifters that will not bleed down? I have a new set that I am re-adjusting, and I have one lifter that is much slower than the rest.

i have a set

sometimes they can take a couple hours to bleed down
how ong have you waited

I have waited all night for one to bleed down (went to bed).

I wound up pulling the lifter back out, took it apart, cleaned and lubed it, re-installed and adjusted. Worked out well.

What? I remember when I installed mine I soaked them in oil overnight and as I installed each push rod one at a time I waited about 15 minutes before moving on to the next one.
