everytime I remove a torx bolt I install a stainless allen bolt I hate torx and stainless looks better anyway
Yeah, Steve! You got it together! Stainless.
Anybody ever wonder why the MoCo chromes the crap outta the cam cover, primary cover, etc. and then fastens 'em with cheesy cad plated hardware? As far as torx, about the only thing I can say about 'em is they're better'n Phillips head screws.

its so they can make more money selling the chrome bolt kits
thats just like selling the twincam bikes with heads that already need flow work so you will buy the se heads greed
So,,,what's so bad about torx bit bolts and screws? I have used them for years with NO problems. I'd much rather have a torx bit screw or bolt than a Phillips head one. Actually if you look at it logically a torx bit drive bit has a good total area of contact with the screw or bolt.

Definitely better than Phillips heads. And might be better than Allen heads if they'd make the hole deeper.
