Default Can't view "thumbnail" pics

Just today it started.
In many topics members add photo's as a "thumbnail" within the topic,
Just hold the curser over it and like magic it/they get enlarged on the screen.
Tried today (several threads and various times) and all I get is a large black translucent square that locks up the topic,
I mean I have to go back to the section heading just to get out of the thread.

Anyone else? Or is there a problem on my end?

Maybe a Internet Explorer "thing" - I switched to Firefox & all is good.

schlaker might have it.
I'm having the problem while running IE11 w/win7pro.
Switched to Google Chrome and it works, (?) but typical with that browser I was getting ad's coming up with the photo's.

I went back to IE11, and added the HD forum site to the Compatibility View Settings list and I have the photo's back.
I don't know if a recent "update" to IE11 caused the change but I at least found a work around.
Damn programmer geeks,, why do they keep messin with stuff? I was happy with win98se!! At least I had control with that OS, now they keep making it easier for me and messin things up!

Good stuff, thank you.
I'm not all that computer savvy so I thought there was something wrong with my computer...I ran a virus scan, malwarebytes, and PC Health Boost to make sure my laptop was running right and healthy. Nothing found and I was still scratching my head haha.

Mine has been doing this also for the last three days. Totally computer illiterate so this sucks.

I too have had this problem. Was working fine with IE 11 then all of a sudden it doesn't. No, adding a different browser should not be the answer.

And the plot thickens.

I've found I'm having trouble on other forums and trying to watch streaming video. Seem's there's some problem with IE11 working within Adobe Flash,, one or the other made an update that doesn't jive with the other. My suspect is IE11 because it seems to be running all the time,, even when I'm not on the net.
I tried to dump and re-load Adobe Flash and it wouldn't because IE11 is running.

So bye-bye for now Internet Explorer 11 and Hello Foxfire,, problem solved.
I swear next time I upgrade computers I'm going Mac.

It might be the best answer though. IE is known for its bugginess at times. Firefox and Chrome are pretty good browsers if you give them a try.
