Joined the forum to learn things from all the folks with bigger minds and more experience than I. Sounds like there is also more entertainment value to be had as well. Perhaps I should read the POD more often!!

It's why I stay out of the POD cesspool. The amount of time people spend pissing all over each other is ridiculous.

I try to keep out of the POD as well - but once in a while I get suckered into it and want to know the outcome of the discussion. But "20 pages" of bitching and complaining about each other muddies the water to much for me.

OS is correct that some people here act like little girls and need to lighten up and grow up.

Generally speaking, we give people a wide latitude and an opportunity to change their ways. This involves a long process of warnings and infractions. Some people get it, others not. One person was given a 7 day vacation this morning. Not saying who. I'm sure you guys can figure it out. In short, we give them plenty of rope before we give the jerk a jerk.

Maybe there can be an "un moderated" section with a ten post max where you have to get

it all in in ten posts. Can you imagine having to choose your posts wisely?

The key word here is 'wisely'.

Some may find that challenging.

None of the threads i'm speaking of were in the POD. MUD runs the POD and his own set of rules which I respect as Izzo has his own and I respect those too.

I guess what it takes is someone to really get under the skin of the moderator to get banned. And before you scold me, Izzo. I'm sure somewhere in the forum rules there are a set of disciplinary actions one gets before ultimately being banned. Rules are like instructions for installing a backrest on your Bagger, they get thrown out with the packaging until you screw up the installation.

I will say one thing, since Trump got elected, the liberals heads have exploded into utter chaos. It's like they don't have the ability to rationalize simple things, like Presidents can only serve 2 terms and in another 3 years we all get to vote again. I troll liberals every night when I get home from work. I log into something like Huffington post and go to the comment section and simple put something like 'Trump is the best president eva"... The Spock mind melt is instantaneous. It's like a bunch of 13 year olds typing as fast as they can.
I have twitter for the same reason, to troll the liberals. I'm blocked by half of hollywood and every single person in the DNC establishment. But's that's what I do on my own time, not here. Here I wanna here about bikes and what other liked minded folks are doing. If I don't like them, I simply move along to another thread. I certainly don't call them out and stalk them on a bike forum.

Everything has it's place and hdforums has made a spot for everyone to have a voice, but when people are trolled here because someone hates them it's different thing altogether.

just my 2 cents.
