The only rules we follow are the official HD Forums rules. I don't have a set and neither does mud. Some of the rules are bent a little more in the POD, but they are still in place. Just last week a member was shown the door after another mod reminded everyone of the rules. He didn't get the message.
Lets leave the politics out of this discussion. It's against the rules.
Well, all respect, IzzoQuazzo, but just a couple of hours ago, a thread was locked where this individual, Joe Mc, was basically going wild with insulting and extreme comments. This is the usual response by the mods...picking the low hanging fruit, and not dealing with the one rude dude...and I understand that the moderators can't see everything, but whomever locked that thread certainly should have been able to discern the base problem there, and dealt with that one member...So, to me, and again, with all respect, y'all are skirting around the issue. And others, who are trying to follow the rules, are paying for it.
Generally speaking, we give people a wide latitude and an opportunity to change their ways. This involves a long process of warnings and infractions. Some people get it, others not. One person was given a 7 day vacation this morning. Not saying who. I'm sure you guys can figure it out. In short, we give them plenty of rope before we give the jerk a jerk.
I warned him, but to no avail, I see. Not surprised. But I did try

And that ain't right...
Really? So where's Joe Mc right now? Care to change your statement?

No offense dude but before I say something, I like to do some research. Maybe you should take the time, as I did, to see what is written below Joe Mc's name as we speak.
