Front engine mount
I replaced the front engine mount on my 2007 flat. I followed the genuine Harley Davidson repair manual to the "T". It runs smoothly at all rpms except 1100rpm. Until it's warm it shakes the bike. As I pass 1100 rpm or it unwinds passing 1100rpm, it shakes. At 1000rpm fine. At 1200rpm fine. WTF? I went on YouTube and followed the instructions for the glide-pro installation. I pulled the engine forward 1/8th " as described. I left all three bolts loose for 20 miles. I tighened the sides to 20 lbft and the center 10-12 lbft. I got this unit from Ronnies HD, it's urethane. It's more than $100 difference from the glide pro. Should I go tighter?
