Default Lowering kit 09 Road King

Hi
I have 2009 Road King, I want to lower the rear. I was on Ebay the other night, and saw a shock relocation kit for 40 bucks. It moves the shock back, and drops the rear 1.5", without changing the shocks. Has anyone tried these, and would you recommend them. J&P Cycles has them also, for 106 bucks.

Thanks, keep the rubber on the road

Lowering the rear will effect the handling a bit and will ride harder because of the angle of the shocks being changed, it changes the geometry of the front end. Best to do both ends if you want to lower the bike at all.

I would like the front to stand a bit taller, going for the raked look.

If you raise the front and lower the rear you risk wrecking the handling. I suggest you look into this a bit more before doing anything!
