Default Question on PVC spacer

I'm from Italy and I'm an happy heavy duty standard fork spring kit owner installed on a 09 dyna.
The intallation went perfect thanks also to the progressive videos and crystal clear instruction and the riding went great so far (2000 miles...).
In some Italian forum I saw some claim regarding the PVC spacer collapsing and breaking apart in small pieces inside the tubes.
I still remember my spacer looking thick and solid so I'm wondering how this can happen. In my view they made some mistake like not using the washer or cutting the spacer badly or in the wrong size or not using the right kit on the right fork.
Knowing progressive is active on this forum I would like to know if they are aware on this issue and if they eventually have suggestion on how to avoid such problem.
I want to take the occasion to state that I'm so happy about my front fork performance that I'm piggy banking for a couple of 970s for my rear.

You should contact Progressive direct, if you want an answer to your query. I haven't read any comments anywhere about PVC spacers collapsing, certainly not on HDF. Was that Italian forum talking about Progressive products, or PVC in general?

It was a specific Italian HD forum and the Progressive springs kit were specifically mentioned.
Because of the language barrier I'm almost sure the problem might be related to misinterpretation of instructions and/or kit applicability, but just to be sure it could be good to know if somebody had the same issue in the USA side.
