I have a '14 Ultra Limited and it is the smoothest HD I've ever had. Good roll-on torque, no heat issues, no leakage. I was leery when I bought it just because of the bull that had been spread on this site, but with out any doubt this has been the best of the three Ultra's I have owned. The only change I have made to the mechanics of this bike was a set of Screamin' Eagle Street Cannons were added right out off the show room floor.

I feel it was a Good Idea....and of course they are only cooling the heads and exhaust ports....Does add a little more power and torque...I am in the South...of course fall is here now....but looking forward to see how much more it cools the bike next summer

I wouldn't call the Waterheads "new" but if others like them, good for them. But give me the good old tried and true air cooled.

Mine runs cooler at low speed. That's what HD says it does and it really works. The inside of my legs roasted on the the pre-liquid cooled bike I had.

I like liquid cooling for touring, but for just cruisin' around town, I don't think it makes much difference unless you live somewhere where it's really hot. I'd like to see a comparison of oil temperatures between liquid and air cooled TwinCams after running in 100+ degree temperatures in the desert. I've never had a cooling related problem in any of the liquid cooled bikes that I've owned.

kind of curious about storing it in the winter months, when the coldest months are here, do you drain it or does it have a heater to plug it in?

I'm glad people are getting used to it. Harley was smart to kinda ease customers into liquid cooling.

I love my air cooled Slim and the vibe and simplicity of it. But if they came out with liquid cooled version that pulled more ponies for me to resist and retained that vibe, I'd definitely check it out.
