In the bottom of the saddlebag...Next to the required city tag (it's a local thing here - another fee). Add another BS inspection tag (yet another fee), and you won't be able to see the plate. They're just lucky I don't make them digest it backwards. Screw them.
I have mine on my license plate add on thing, that hangs down below the plate. "Rumor" has it that Texas will still have inspections but no sticker next year. But that what I read here and until I see it in the news, it's still a rumor.
When I replaced my stock license plate holder, I cut off the plate the inspection sticker was attached to to just a hair larger than the sticker itself. I left a small tab and drilled a hole it in for a mounting point. Same thing as the plate upflying linked to, just free!
Hey there...for our fellow Texans. Its a fact...from the motor vehicle website:
Get ready for the new Texas Two Step! The State of Texas will stop issuing inspection stickers and transition to a Two Steps, One Sticker vehicle inspection and registration system next year. Vehicles inspected after March 1, 2015, will no longer be issued an inspection sticker.
Its about time! one less sticker.

I don't imagine inspection will be around much longer. More and more states seem to be abandoning it.
I think it was more important back in the day when EVERYONE bought and kept their cars for 20 years. Nowadays, everyone leases for 3 years. I see very few old vehicles that look like they would benefit from inspection. Very few. I'm talking 1 or 2 per month.
