My point exactly 07 HC, if someone has a problem with what you wear it is them that is looking for trouble, not saying that you should knowingly wear somthing the might antagonize someone else but if you do, this is America, thats their problem. It will be what it will be.
POW patch is cool. I have never seen anyone get hassled over that.
As for the 3 piece. Wear it if you want. Just make sure you can back it up. It is serious and not to be taken lightly. If you are in the military, it would be kin to wearing a qualification badge that you didn't earn...like a CIB or Ranger tab....But if you earned it and can back it up, **** em.
I'm with you masterblaster. F-um! A lot of people on this forum seem to forget where they live. You can wear whatever you want in this country as long as it is not indecent in your locality. Hell, I see HOG members with three patch vests, and LEO clubs too. Wearing MC colors if you are not a member isa different matter. Today, the smart MC members mind their own business and live and let live.
I think when it comes to wearing a three piece suit that doesn't belong to me... its akin to trespassing. I don't go looking for trouble, I stay out of other people's yard - and expect they do the same for me. Get caught wearing my MCs three piece... and you had better be fast on your feet.

I don't think he mentioned wearing another club's patch or a club patch at all. Everyone is entitled to his own colors no matter how many patches are involved.
Funny how this thing comes up every now and then. I ain't talking about the initial issue, but those who have the attitude of "F**k 'em, this is Amurrica ..." While in a sense you are 100% right, there are also these things known as consequences. You can wear whatever you choose. But you might face severe consequences, legal or otherwise. The otherwise tends to be humiliating and sometimes painful.
Whether you choose to acknowledge it, whether you choose to like it, there are protocols in the muttersickling world. You might go a lifetime of riding and never even be aware of 'em. And you might take a 1 mile ride and fall right into the middle of a war. Doesn't matter one bit what you think, it is what it is.
On another topic, do any of ya'll think it would be in bad taste to fly the POW flag on a PGR mission ride?
Jim
I fly an American and POW flag on my bike almost everyday, and every PRG mission. In fact the flags were the first things to go on the new HD. Like SteelCityScooter said, US on right, POW on left. There are numerous threads on flags on the PGR site too.
