Well, it's funny that this comes up. I ride with a couple of guys and we went and had a local sign place make a patch for us. It's really cheap and it has no banner, rocker, etc. It just says NTC: A Way of Life. I dont want to disrespect anybody or their territory. And no I am not a *****! I was raised to show respect. My buddies want to have this patch put on a standard vest just for our own satisfaction. Would this be considered colors? Or is it acceptable to just have a riding grouP? Or do I need to go to a COC meeting?? I'm sure a problem would never arise, but I am all about being preventative over reflexive. Any comments??
as long as you just present yourselfs as a RC and not a MC and do not make it a 3 peice or use another clubs desighn or colors in general you should be ok
Thanks CRUSHER!! THat makes me feel a lot better. I try to never ride with the F'em attitude!! Just doesnt get you very far unless you want your *** kicked, chained up, and drug behind a leaky *** Shovel!!
An internet forum is not a very good place to ask what (in the way of patches) might be acceptable in your local area, as what might be fine in one location might raise questions in a different location.
If you have concerns, or just have general questions,a more reliable source of information would be to contact someone from your state COC.
Wearing a patch like the one you mentioned is not a problem. Wearing multi-piece patches that are made to resemble a MC, is asking for trouble, as others have stated.
Listening to those that tell you, "F*ck 'em, wear what you want," might as well be telling you to tease a pack of pitbulls. Yeah, it'sa free country, you can do what you want... should you, is another matter.
Maybe some people on here should read Hells Angel by Sonny Barger, just to give you an idea of what clubs like the HA are really like.
These guys won't think twice about killing and leaving you in a ditch if you disrespect them.
