Default One Expensive Oil Filter

So I stop in at my local dealer for a filter and a Qt. Formula + and my wife wife ends up on a nice used Sportster. What the hell, the price was right. 2007 1200, two tone blue with gold pin strips, 10,000 miles, security system, heated grips, back rest, a wind shield and LED tail light all HD. Nice aftermarket pegs, shift, and a few other things, Mustang seat and they put new tires on it and changed the fluids and plugs. Straight ,clean and a lot quicker than I thought it would be. Hell, the last Sportster I road had a right side shift. $7000 even. Too bad for her it snowed today.

It happens. I just went in to look at bikes in November '12. 3 weeks later, I was signing the papers.

I exchanged a t-shirt for a different color and that started the chain to my deluxe.

You got it. She has her own money so it is no big deal. It's nice to see her happy, and that equals skipping the dinner and movie.

You'd a thought they would have thrown in the filter.

That's a nice looking Sportster. The black offsets the light blue nicely.

I am too big and overweight for a Sportster but still appreciate them. I had one when I was in college about one hundred pounds ago.
