Havent used that battery yet but its nice to see they gave you good cust srv'c and that the replacement actually made its advertised 600cca spec when you tested it.
BTW,since you said the battery is going to sit for quite a while prior to use you really should put it on a charger (or maint /float charger) 1x every 3-4wks to ensure it's kept at full charge to be less likely to sulfate due to lack of use & no charging activity.
Let us know how it this battery works out for you.
I have always bought hd batteries, this time around I got a Napa branded deka for 90 bucks plus tax.
I know the cranking amps are higher and it starts my bike without the compression releases, where the factory ones wouldn't.
I don't start it without the cr's but nice to know it will.
The Big Crank spins over my Fatboy as if the spark plugs were removed. After 2 years I'm sold on the Big C. However, Interstate makes a pretty good battery too. If MoCo could be more competitive in their pricing I'd be happy to spend money there. But for half the price I'll take Big Crank every time. JMO

There are only a few mfgs in the USA that make the agm maint free bike batteries and from what i understand Deka (In PA.) mfg's the Big crank AGM maint free batteries along with mfg them for quite a few other companies to see under thier brand name too.
Deka also mfgs their maint free agm bike batteries for autozone & think Advanced auto too along with a couple other venders that sell batteries with their names on them too.
I read someplace in this forum Deka also mfg's the HD agm maint free battery too but i don't know if thats the case or not.
