I searched and not getting what I am looking for.
I am possibly interested in shipping a Limited from Alabama to Az.
Any good experiences with companies doing that.
Thanks
My brother in law had to ship one from Tulsa to Golden CO and used someone a local dealer knew/used. Seems like it was more on the carrier's schedule that depended on when he was ready, not a hot shot delivery. Maybe a few hundred bucks..........the local dealer here was Myers - Duren
When I shipped a bike from MI to NC several years ago, I used Allied Van Lines. I met the truck at a local MC dealer when they were delivering a bike; there was
a motorcycle pallet w/tie downs on the truck. Everything went OK.
I have used Keyboard Shipping numerous times. I can't say enough good things about them.
They are based in Kentucky. They will schedule a time to pick up your bike, at your home or wherever. They pallet the bike, slide on their truck, and take to KY. From KY, they off load into their warehouse, reload a truck going to another part of the country, and deliver where you specify. They let you know when the delivery will be there. For some, maybe a little slower than you'd like. Never been a problem for me.
I ship from FL to Colorado, then ride to Sturgis with friends. Pick up at my house, drop at my friend's house, then reverse.
You can visit their website. Their phone # is 270-737-5797. Excellent service.
I've used this site on 2 occasions to help ship bikes I've sold: http://www.uship.com/motorcycles/ Both times it worked out great. You basically list what, when & where you're shipping. Then several different transport companies bid on your shipment as to price & dates they can accommodate you.
Once you have a bid from a transport company that's of interest to you, do a Google search for reviews on that company to check them out better. That's if you're priority is for the best price you can find.

+1 for Keyboard! RELIABLE!
I recently shipped my bike from NJ to FL. I arranged with my local dealer to leave my bike there for Keyboard to pick up and with a new to me FL dealer for the bike to be dropped off at. NEITHER dealership would charge me a cent for ANYTHING! One of the perks of riding a Harley!! Once my bike was picked up I got a call from the NJ dealer to let me know that it was picked up. A few days later I got a call from the FL dealer to let me know they had received it. A month or so later I picked up my bike. (I was relocating to FL) I would use Keyboard again in a heartbeat!!!
I will add that Keyboard handles your bike from beginning to end - no middle men!

I have a quote from uship and keyboard. The only issue I have with keyboard is a 3-6 week time frame. They must be busy. Uship 7 days. I will do one or the other if I buy the Limited. Thanks for the help on this.
I have used Matt at Wolverine Transport for a couple bikes I sold now. One sport bike and one HD Bagger. He is owner operator and has a f450 and a sleek enclosed trailer. Super good rate and he takes great care of the bikes. It's been a few years but looks like he is still around. http://www.wolverinetransport.com/introtest.html Last time he picked up from me he had some high end collector bikes in the trailer he was transporting for some celebs if I remember correctly.
