dealership or indy? What tuner, cams , ect? i would say 1500-2000 bucks if you are having it done. A/c setup 150, cams, adj pushrods, lifters, gaskets 400-700,labor 600. after all that another 300 -400 for a dyno. Maybe you can save on the pushrods and lifters. That depends on the base circle of your cam choice and your mileage. By the way a stage 1 ac is fine, but if you buy the fancy looking stuff like the se heavy breather add about 250 bucks to the 150. K&n under your stock cover is good enough.

Above and beyond the questions and recommendations above, whether it's worth it or not is totally subjective.

Do you feel like the bike is lacking power or pull? If so then sure cam replacement is worth it, or are you just looking for a fun project?

I was just looking for a project and it was totally worth it, I'm also reaping the rewards of increased punch even though I didn't feel it was lacking.

Cost, assuming you already have AC and exhaust, you can get away with a fair bit.

Nice bolt in cam with same base circle, keeping your own rods and lifters so just purchasing gaskets, cams, bearings, o-rings, and bearing tool (which you can then resell), assuming that you do the work yourself you can do it for less than $400

Many questions before your question can be answered. Do you have stage one already? What bike? Stage two is basically a cam swap. And yes, it's worth the investment.
